 At Buffalo Creek Millwork, we’re all about quality craftsmanship and dependable service. Based just outside Waxahachie, Texas, we manufacture custom hardwood Mouldings. With top-of-the-line equipment and a talented, and experienced crew, we can turn your drawings or ideas into one-of-a-kind profiles—quickly and accurately. 

Buffalo Creek Millwork was founded in 2001 by Demetre and Sonia Koutros in Waxahachie, Texas, built on a shared vision of craftsmanship, service, and integrity.

Demetre grew up in Boston and Chicago before moving to Texas to attend Baylor University, where he met Sonia. The two have been married for 44 years and have built both a family and a business grounded in hard work and commitment.

With 39 years of experience in the moulding and millwork industry, Demetre brings deep knowledge and hands-on expertise to every part of the operation. He’s passionate about passing that experience on—mentoring the management team and working closely with employees to ensure every custom profile reflects the high standards Buffalo Creek is known for.

Today, their son Micah Koutros serves as General Manager. Trained in CAD design and custom profile development, Micah has worked at Buffalo Creek Millwork for 14 years and plays a key role in day-to-day operations and project execution. He is married to Danielle Koutros, and together they have two children, Alexander and Caroline.
